If you are not sleeping in after a long night of dancing or taking workshops with some of our world renowned maestros, here are some amazing options for you to experience during your days.

Laguna beach is one of our favorite destinations in all of Southern California.  From the secret beach coves to the mouth watering restaurants with breathtaking views, to the quaint art galleries and boutique shops, Laguna has it all.

Las Brisas Mexican restaurant, nestled on the northern end of Laguna Beach, offers world class hospitality, an eclectic Southern California cuisine and stunning panoramic views.  A dinner at sunset is a vision you will never forget. Behind the restaurant is a gorgeous walking path that will take you down to the beach.

Adjacent to the beach is South Coast Highway, the main strip of Laguna Beach, where you can explore many of the different restaurant and shopping options.  Another one of our favorite restaurants is located here inside the Hotel Laguna. The Larsen offers fresh local ingredients, chef- driven creations, and captures the diverse flavors of the modern West with tastes for all appetites. Dine here and enjoy the relaxing views and sonorous sounds of the waves crashing on the beach behind the restaurant.

Crystal Cove, Newport Beach is only 19 minutes drive from the hotel. This state park has an amazing beach and various hiking trails with stellar views. It is a state park so to get access to the beach and trails you will have to pay to enter.   Above this beach on the highway you will find a Shake Shack with a panoramic view of the coast line.  A good place for burgers and fries.  We also recommend Parakeet Caffe in Crystal Cove plaza for their delectable healthy food and artisanal baristas that craft unique beverages that put a smile on your face.

A short drive up the coast in Newport Beach and only 11 minutes drive from the hotel, you will find Fashion Island shopping mall. A great place to find that dress that will turn heads at the milonga.  A little further up the coast you will find Balboa Island which is only 17 minutes drive from the hotel. If you are into cute small town shops and restaurants with an amazing walkway adjacent to boat docks, this is the place.

Last but not least in Newport, and only 17 minutes drive from the hotel, is one of our absolute favorite destinations: Lido Marina Village.  Here you will find many top notch restaurants nestled along a boardwalk facing the marina. Lido Village also has some amazing boutique clothing shops tucked into the quaint labyrinth of the village.  Definitely check out Zinqué restaurant, which offers French style fare in sleek surroundings. A great place for brunch or dinner.

If you are looking for a comprehensive shopping experience, South Coast Plaza is one of the best malls in Orange County. Only 7 mins drive from the hotel, this in door mall has all the name brands, luxury brands as well as department stores.  It’s massive so you will need quite some time to make your way through the whole mall.

If you are coming with children and are looking for dinner, shopping as well as entertainment, the Irvine Spectrum is only 17 mins drive from the hotel.  This very popular outdoor mall is most recognized for its Ferris wheel, and ice skating rink in the winter months. There are play grounds for children as well.

Inside the Spectrum you will find one of our favorite restaurants: Habana, a warm and lively restaurant for Cuban cuisine. From the delectable cocktails, to the savory entrees, to the affable service, this restaurant and its ambiance has it all to help you craft an amazing evening.
